How to do it

At first, fasten the spoon holder to the edge of the jar, at the most convenient place:
where there is no screw thread for the lid.

Now slide the holder onto the thread ridge. This goes with ease and without using force.

Now just slide on until the spoon holder comes to lie on the upper edge of the jar. That’s it!

Even when the lid of the jar is screwed on again, the holder does not have to be removed. That’s really practical.
